This painting speaks to the “gifts” that we all give to each other. We all originate from the same source. Our differences make life interesting and full and yet sometimes we forget that we are all connected.
The red pail spilling precious gems represents the treasure that we share. Nature gives to humans and animal life alike, and in turn we give back to nature.
Life is a concert everything was created to work in harmony.
The Buck in the painting represents vitality, confidence, nobility and pride. He is also the sign for transitions and beginnings.
This painting speaks to the new era we are entering of waking up to the truth that we come from Spirit and as such every living being is Sacred and every living being is connected.

We Are All One
Meet Zukhara, Nebu and Matseing. These five year old white lions living in Africa are beautiful examples of the power, majesty and wisdom of these magnificent beings. To look into their eyes is to fall in love. Their Souls inspired me to create a painting that speaks of connection between all living beings and the great need for us all to recognize and embrace the fact that we are all indeed One. Treating our fellow beings with love and respect will help us to create a peaceful, balanced and rich world in which to enjoy.
White lions are currently an endangered species. Still used in canned hunting there are very few left in the wild. The White Lion Trust Foundation created by Linda Tucker author and conservationist serves to protect these White Lions. Their goal is to return them to their natural environment.
They are regarded as sacred in Africa. They are called “Children of the Sun God”.

The crystals in this painting that flow up from the ground below crow represent the Soul coming into this physical awareness. Each lifetime our Soul chooses a new and unique calling. What drives and motivates us and what becomes our passion in our lifetime is “our calling”. Crow also has a calling and in this painting he stands guard over the energy of the Soul. He brings knowledge, intelligence and companionship to our experience. Dream catcher serves as a filter through which our life experiences can be transformed through dream time. Clearing out the obstacles, Dreamcatcher creates a clear slate during our sleep for us to awaken to our new potential.
As the young child enters into physical life his heart is full of joy. He knows the connection that we all hold with Spirit and remembers this truth as he enters into physical life. He rides a wave of love. The love of his Angels’ surrounds and supports him as it does every living being that comes into existence. The song of the Angels’ heralds his arrival on earth and that song continues throughout his entire lifetime. The Angels’ Song is that of devotion, love, protection and joy.
Spirit Crow at Dusk
As dusk approaches Spirit Crow sits in watch from his perch in an apple tree. Crow is very intelligent and ever watchful of our daily activities; he reminds us to be mindful of our surroundings and grateful for our blessings. His life mate sits nearby, keeping a close eye, because Crow also teaches us the value of honour and commitment. Crow aligns us with the mystery that is life bringing us closer to the understanding that everything in existence is connected.
I Am Light, I Am Love,
The Buddha sits atop the blossoming Lotus which represents enlightenment. Buddha’s aura takes the form of delicate pink lilies flowing up and around the physical form. The rich brown loam of Mother Earth nurtures white blooms that grow at Buddha’s feet. Tiny flecks of gold and crystals sparkle in the soil bringing promise of infinite growth and new beginnings. Buddha reminds us to open our hearts to joy and love.
The beautiful white crane is feminine energy. She stands tall and proud as the matriarch of her family. She steps lightly as she protects and nurtures her young. Spiritually, she brings goodness and loyalty to her family unit. She is a symbol of communion with God and entering a Higher state of Consciousness. Crane is guarded by the mighty Pine tree who is male energy. The Pine tree symbolizes creativity, life, longevity and immortality. His broad and magnificent branches embrace the feminine crane as he stands guard over her and her progeny.
Our connection with our soul is through the heart. When we bring our consciousness down into our heart area we teach the mind to still its busy activity. Quieting the mind allows us to return our system to a calm, and serene state. With practice we can achieve great joy and harmony in our lives by taking some time each day to sit quietly and move our attention to our heart area. The heart gives us access to letting go of old programs that no longer serve us in life. When we are able to move forward with more self love then we expand and grow in our experiences. This allows us to have more compassion for others and more optimism for life.
Owning Your Fire
The sacred fire which glows within the circle of life represents our personal power as Spiritual beings. It sits among a landscape of distant mountains shrouded in clouds of Angel energy. The soft warm sand of the desert marks the cleansing of our consciousness enabling us to open up to our true potential. The seven chakras of the energetic system flow up and around the fire glow with clarity and healing.
The crystals around the green heart chakra twinkle as they remind us that the key to connection with our Soul and Spirit is through the heart.
Grasp the fire within and let it flow.
As our life path curves gently into the distance, it is surrounded by beauty. The crystals in the dirt below our feet mark our journey as perfection, a perfection that we often do not recognize in ourselves and nevertheless is present. Two wild horses race across the landscape in the background; their pure joy at being free is a reminder to live our lives with faith and joy which brings emotional freedom. The window frame reminds us that the heart is the portal through which our Soul is seen and felt. The Soul is our greatest teacher of freedom.
The powerful Tiger speaks of courage and strength as he gazes out of the sacred shield. He is watching us and brings the ability to trust in our instincts so that we may overcome our fears. Gentle gopher sits quietly by his side and teaches us about heightened intuition. He knows well how to show us which direction to choose as we travel our life path. Little green frog is small yet powerful as he brings us luck, purity, and renewal to our experiences. Above him the magnificent jet black of panther shines knowledge of our psychic, physical and spiritual abilities. He is fierce in appearance and yet he is compassionate in his heart showing us how to transform our past suffering and reclaim our power.
The regal gazelle stands tall and proud bringing us the awareness and skill of being comfortable in our own vulnerability, a trait that brings us great personal freedom.
The delicate fluttering of pigeon’s wings blows forth knowledge of how to bring peace, love and understanding to situations, teaching us the art of communication and cooperation. Finally chameleon balances perfectly as he hovers over his fellow totem animals. He teaches us how to show the true colours of self and how to share our sincere emotional nature.
Wolf stands guard over a power symbol for this painting. His piercing gaze conveys to us his knowledge of instinct, intelligence and freedom. Badger sits by his side. He may be a fierce combatant when cornered and so is an excellent teacher to learn from. He shows us how to have determination, a strong will, great focus, and independence and confidence. Rabbit may be a gentle leader yet he has profound lessons for us about abundance, comfort and feeling safe with emotional vulnerability. Deer can show us love, grace, peace and beauty. Other traits she brings us are swiftness, regrowth and creativity.
We learn about survival, and the knowledge of how to succeed from magnificent Snowy Owl. The Owl also wants us to know about wisdom and prophecy.
Hawk who hovers above the group, is the messenger of the Spirit world. He uses the power of focus and shows us how to take the lead when the time is right. He also gives the power to see and have clear vision.
Finally Snake brings healing, change and increased energy and represents Spiritual guidance. When you have any of these totem animals in your life, open your heart to receive their message.
Meditating with Buddha
What image brings serenity to your experience? For me it is the Buddha.
Tranquility, compassion, gentleness, acceptance, inner strength and love are all words that describe Buddha for me. Whether it is an image, a mantra, a walk in nature, follow your heart and nourish those things that support calm and serene energies for you.
